Introducing Bilingual Office Paralegal, Viviana Jimenez-Cory

In an effort to offer more efficiency in our Rancho Cucamonga, Ca family law office and a quicker turn-a-round with divorce cases, The Family Law Office of James J. Kenny would like to give a warm welcome to our newest addition to our divorce law team, Viviana Jimenez-Cory, a highly experienced and licensed paralegal for San Bernardino County.

Paralegal assistant for Divorce Attorney, James Kenny, Rancho Cucamonga, CaMrs. Viviana Jimenez-Cory goes by Vivian, and grew up close to our Rancho Cucamonga office in Ontario, Ca and she is bilingual, speaking both English and Spanish. She attended Chaffey College in the architecture transfer program and during that time, she started working part-time as a receptionist at a family law office in Chino, Ca called, Republic Law Firm, where she fell in love with Law. As time passed, she moved her way up in the law office and over the years, she became the lead paralegal. After 5 years of paralegal work, she acquired her license through the county of San Bernardino.  She started running her own legal document practice, helping people to prepare legal documents. As a licensed paralegal, Mrs. Vivian is able to assist Mr. Kenny with calendaring court cases, accessing case statuses online, drafting welcome and closing letters, translating office letters, translating for clients to both English and Spanish, translating office retainers, communicating to opposing counsel regarding files, calling and communicating with court regarding hearings, calling and communicating with detention centers regarding clients in custody, having knowledge in how to access online websites for information regarding family law, civil cases, immigration cases, criminal cases, adoptions, etc…

In regards to her legal preparation document experience, Mrs. Jimenez-Cory has experience preparing court forms which include but are not limited to; divorce packets, request for order’s (child support, child visitation, child custody, spousal support, equalization of assets, bifurcations, ex-parte’s), request for temporary restraining order, response to temporary restraining orders, complaints, small claims forms, lis pendens forms (a written notice that a lawsuit has been filed concerning real estate), will and trust packets, grant deed forms, quitclaim deeds, judgement packets for civil and family law, settlement stipulations for civil and family law, addendum’s in living trust, addendum’s to judgments, finding and orders after hearing forms, wage garnishment forms, discovery for civil and family cases, joinder for pension plans, petitions to establish paternity, immigration packets, Ddro packets and more…

Mrs. Jimenez-Cory attends the Lutheran Church of our Savior in San Bernardino, Ca and loves to do community service with Habitat for Humanity, which is a non-profit organization that helps families build and improve places to call home, and she also loves volunteering at local senior centers. With such a big heart for helping the community, we know we made the right choice in adding Vivian to our Family Law team!
